The Salt Lake Masonic Temple is a really stunning old building (built in 1927) located in Downtown Salt Lake City. They have graciously opened their doors to several community events including An October Evening.
An October Evening is a fun spooky show that features local artists presenting movies, music, choreography, fashion, and more. We have been a couple of times, and it has always been interesting and worth the ticket price.

The Adventure:
Well, lets start with the most recent event.
2017
Twin Sphinxes.
Panoramic.
Getting seated in the Auditorium.
I absolutely love this venue!
With the neat dome above.
A spooky act of some sort. Sorry, it has been a minute.
A spooky pole dancer.
Fashion show.
Again.
Fun skull stamp.
2010:
The North entrance.
One of the neat sphinxes.
The Grand Lobby, AKA The Tuscan Lobby.
The Auditorium.
I found Waldo!
The neat “star dome” as I just decided to call it.
Terrible picture with the lighting, but that is an absolutely EPIC Beetlejuice costume! And I see Lydia seated next to him too. Yay!
The Masonic square and compass symbol above the stage.
Again, it’s been a minute, but I believe these are our hosts.
A band of some sort.
AHHHH!!!! The Skeleton Dance. I love it.
Dark lighting and no flash makes for a blurry shot, but, still neat.
Same issue hah. None of my pictures of the fashion show turned out. But this one is kind of fun.
A magic act. Fun.
2008 Just a couple images from the outside.
I absolutely love this building. I also really enjoy the performances, and that the event allows us to see the neat building. 10 out of 10 squirrels!
