Burgertory

Burgertory is a small, locally owned horror themed burger joint. It features horror themed décor, and horror themed burgers. Because I am a spooky kid, I have been wanting to check them out for a minute. This, really kind of falls outside of my normal blog theme for the most part but it is spooky, and different enough that I thought I would do a quick-un on it.

The horror themed burgers feature amazing gems including: The Double Creature Feature, The Van Helsing, The Exorswiss & Mushrooms, American Werewolf and Mushrooms, Baconsteins Monster, The Hellraiser, The Pastromityville Horror, and of course a regular Burgertory Classic. I love me some good puns! Food and horror puns kill me. All burgers come with stake frights, with upgrade options.

These pictures are most from January 2024, and a couple from January 2026, so technically this an archive post. But I thought this would be a great way to start October!

The Adventure:

It is in a small strip mall.

Closer, from another attempt, when it was closed unfortunately early this year.

Even closer again, early this year.

The front counter. The menu is surrounded by horror movie memorabilia. This is absolutely my kind of place!

Aside from their usual horror themed burgers, the specials today are the “Attack of the Killer Meatball Sandwich and the Organ Trail”. Haha yay!

Hah.

The small dining area.

I love all the horror movie posters and memorabilia. It’s kind of like a TGI Fridays, for spooky people.

The horror theme continued into the single occupancy restroom.

I absolutely adore this sign! But, Michael Myers is my favorite.

The dining area again.

Front counter again.

I bought one of the neat Michael Myers scrolls, because, again, my favorite.

It was a good burger, the frights were awesome too. I love the theme, and of course, I love supporting local. So, triple win for me today. There were a couple minor meh moments, but I attribute that to just a new owner figuring it all out. I would definitely come back. 9 out of 10 squirrels.

As for difficulty, get out and see, DR1

Dogs are not allowed in restaurants, so be sure to leave Fido home for your spooky dinner.
