Holiday Lights: Lights on Arthur

The Lights on Arthur is another fun holiday home decoration lights show. I started following them this season, and they posted that they were doing 1 more last hurrah before they take everything down! Since we tried to see them 3 weeks ago with no luck and because we obviously didn’t stuff in enough holiday events this season, I thought well heck lets go. Even if it does feel a little late to see holiday lights.

Quick Details:

Length: NA
Trail Type: View from car, or get out and see.
Difficulty: DR1
Elevation Gain: NA
Restroom: No. You will need to find a gas station or something.
Dogs? I mean, what you do in your own car is your prerogative.
Other Info: Tune in to 87.9 to hear the music. Remember to turn off your headlights!

This is pretty close to the Larson Family Lights so you can hit both of them on the same night earlier in the season. I think Larson’s last weekend was the first weekend of January.

Also, it looks like they do a Halloween show as well, so I will definitely have to come check that out.

To Get Here:

2004 W. Arthur Dr. West Jordan, UT, United States, Utah 84084

From i15, take the 7200 South exit. Head west for about 3 miles, turn left on 2200 west. Go about 4/10ths of a mile and turn left on Arthur Drive. Go about 2/10ths of a mile and it will be on the left.

The Trail:

Pretty lights.

I love the glittery tree.

Various colors.

Quick video.

They have some fun characters.

We decided to get out of the car for a minute to get a better view.

Woo, super bright!

The sign says “Welcome to our small world”. And that was one of the songs they played.

Red.

“87.9 FM” and “Please respect our neighbors”.

Okay… I think I see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Eifel Tower, a Chinese pagoda, but I don’t know what the other 2 things on the roof are.

Oh, and I see Mickey on the garage.

Panoramic to show the whole thing.

Now that sign says “Shows runs until Jan 1” So I guess that is normally when it ends. I wonder why they decided to do a last hurrah so late this year? But whatever, I am glad we got to see it.

Sparkly tree.

Back in the car.

Well, like I said, it is a little bit late for holiday lights, but it was still fun and I am glad we made the effort to come see it. Again, it would be a little more magical with some dang snow already but that isn’t their fault. It was still fun. I definitely want to see how their Halloween show is too. So just 10 months to hopefully retain that information haha. Anyway, it was fun. 9 out of 10 squirrels.

As for difficulty, Stay in your car, or get out and see. DR1.

Dogs are allowed on city sidewalks, leashed. And I imagine if you are a dog person they are allowed in your car as well haha.
